Freedom were looking for an agency to give creative direction, design and useability guidance to build a brand new site for Freedom’s web relaunch.
MassMedia worked BlueArc, the CMS vendor on the 2009 relaunch of the Freedom Furniture web presence.
Based on a concept of ‘interactive visual catalogue’, MassMedia Studios redesigned a new website framework that would house Freedoms’s entire product range, corporate information, decorator tips, promotions and career information – all within a modern easy-to-use site, with a solid self-managed CMS backend.
The look & feel was inspired by Freedom’s own printed catalogues, we build a structured layout that focused on showcasing the photographs of the product as beautifully as possible – whilist keeping a very intuitive and functional navigation system. Subtle animated Flash elements were added to bring the visuals to life and add interactivity to the interior design photographs.
The site content was structured to maximise the SEO decision were also a core focus for this redesign.
